Fundamentals of Grant Writing

Grants are awarded to implement sound, practical ideas that meet needs, solve problems, or improve conditions for groups of individuals or a community. Successful entrepreneurs in non-profit or for-profit sectors are able to identify problems, propose Feasible solutions, and convince funders to invest in their ideas. In this three-hour workshop, Michele Oros will provide hands-on experience researching and writing needs assessments; designing projects with concrete, measurable objectives; and creating justifiable budgets. This workshop is designed for grant seekers who are ready to begin putting their ideas into words.

It will run from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19.
