As a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Paul Cyr is a classically trained chef. At the request of several students he happily agreed to teach this class. Join in and learn to make the five mother sauces: veloute, béchamel, tomato, español, and hollandaise. Learn when to use these sauces to your best advantage. Paul will also teach variations of the sauces to add different flavors. We’ve got plenty of whisks. Just bring your enthusiasm and your appetite. Paul will make us a nice snack to grace with the sauces.
