The Medical Office Specialist program will provide skills training in basic computer operations, medical terminology, medical law and ethics, medical office procedures, professional ettiquette, grammer review and editing, electronic health records, and medical coding.  This is a fast-paced program that is offered in a hybrid setting with a combination of seated and online hours; some class sessions will be held online via Blackboard.  Students should have a valid email account prior to registering for this program.  At the completion of the program, students will have the opportunity to register and sit for the Medical Administrative Assistant Certification (CMAA).  The cost of the credential exam is $105 (more information below).

Optional Credential Exam: Medical Administrative Assistant Certification (CMAA), $105

Offered through the National HealthCareer Association (NHA). Students will be given more information about the credentialing exam as the class concludes.
