Additional meal prep class added to schedule
BCCC has added an additional session to "Meal Prep: Healthy Slow Cooker Freezer Meals". One session had already been scheduled for January 28 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Participants have an additional option on Thursday, February 6 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. The class costs $45.
Participants can have a nice, healthy family supper even when things get hectic. Katie Woolard will show them how to make and freeze dishes that can be dropped into a slow cooker in the morning for a good supper that evening. Each participant will make three meals to take home and freeze. Of course, she’ll make them in class to sample. The menu consists of the following: cilantro lime chicken, pork with spiced apples, Tuscan chicken and white bean soup. Participants can register and pay online.
