Online small business workshops this May
Beaufort County Community College’s Small Business Center has online workshops coming up, some which deal with the COVID-19 shutdown and some that help build or start a strong small business. All workshops listed will be online, and they are all free. Click on the class titles to register.

Representatives from the Small Business Administration, the Internal Revenue Service and the North Carolina Department of Revenue will share timely program updates to help you as a small business owner. Eileen Joyce, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA); Evette Davis, Internal Revenue Service (IRS); and Kayla DeMaria, North Carolina Department of Revenue (NCDOR) will present on Thursday, May 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

BUT you can take matters into your hands and discover what you can do to bring customers to you. In this seminar David Mayo will teach low cost advertising/marketing strategies and methods, creating a marketing plan, scoring greater sales with current customers, and other “tricks” of the trade. This seminar will take place online on Monday, May 18 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
