Introduction to Unmanned Drones for the Recreational User
BCCC partners with the Inner Banks STEM Center to provide a fun class that will expose the students to the history of aviation, types of drones and how they fly. The safe inspection and operation of drones will be discussed. The students will learn to fly a drone and be introduced to basic coding concepts. The commercial use of drones in research, industry, business, agriculture, and military applications will be discussed. Airspace and weather considerations will be explained. This is an excellent course for anyone who wants to learn how to safely operate their recreational drone or who is considering taking the Federal Aviation Administration Part 107 written examination to obtain a Drone License.
