Full qualified Students for College Transfer Pathway

  • Must be a high school junior or senior
  • Have a weighted 3.0 GPA
  • Have qualifying test scores:









































































  • Counselor will ensure students have met the above qualifications and then will check them as CT eligible on CFNC.
  • Students will complete a CCP BCCC application. They will choose either: AA or AS. (Please remember it is more difficult for students to receive AS due to the additional science and math courses that are required for CCP Pathways.)

Provisionally qualified Students for College Transfer Pathway

  • Be a high school junior or senior
  • Have a weighted 3.5 GPA
  • Completed 2 years high school English with a “C” or higher
  • Completed high school Algebra II or Math III (or higher level math class) with a “C” or higher.
  • Obtain written approval from the high school principal or his/her designee

Students who meet the above provisional qualifications may:

  • Enroll in an English and/or mathematics course in a college transfer pathway as a provisional student without placement and or other testing. Register only for college math and college English courses within chosen pathway
  • Provisional students who receive a “C” or better in ENG 111 may enroll in ENG 112.
  • Provisional students in the AS Pathway who receive a “C” or better in MAT 171 may enroll in MAT 172.
  • Students are no longer considered provisional once they receive “C” or higher in the first college mathematics and English Course in their pathway.

Career Technical Pathways

Career Technical Education Pathway (Juniors and Seniors)

  • Be a high school junior or senior
  • Have a weighted 3.0 GPA or have a recommendation GPA waiver of the high school principal or his/her designee.

Students who meet the above provisional qualifications may:

  • Counselor will ensure students have met the above qualifications and then will check them as CTE eligible on the CCP BCCC application.
  • Students will complete a CCP BCCC application making sure they are entering as CCP CTE student. They must choose the appropriate pathway for the CTE class they are taking. (Students may change pathways at a later date).
  • CTE students are not required to demonstrate college readiness, however some of the required courses within the program may have pre-requisites which must be met.

Career Technical Education Pathway (Freshmen and Sophomores)

  • May only enroll high school freshman or sophomore in Engineering and Industrial technologies, certificates, and diploma programs.

For high school Freshmen:

  • Must have passed Math I with a grade of “C” or better
  • Scored a 3 or 4 on the Math I EOC or if students do not have a Math I EOC score they may use college ready placement tests: See table below:
  • Have the recommendation of the high school principal or his/her designee

For high school Sophomore:

  • Must have passed Math I with a grade of “C” or better
  • Scored a 3 or higher on the Math I EOC or if students do not have a Math I EOC score they may use college ready placement tests: See table below:
  • Have a weighted gpa of 3.0 on high school courses
  • Have the recommendation of the high school principal or his/her designee
