Our HVAC program is based on the Level 1 HVAC (heating and air-conditioning systems) technology program through the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). While our program is based on the NCCER Level I program, we will not be offering the credential at this time.  However, with enough student interest, we can add the credential at any time.

Our program is offered over several semesters and is divided into three phases, with Phase 1 always beginning in fall semester.  Phase 1 is an introduction and provides a foundation; Phase 2 provides an opportunity to earn the CFC Certification along with continuing to build the students skills; and finally, Phase 3 covers refrigerant recovery, along with completing the textbook modules.

Classes will resume in the fall of 2017 in building 8 at the Washington, NC campus of Beaufort County Community College.

Students may be allowed to enroll in various phases with proper documentation.  This documentation would need to include any prior HVAC experience and will be reviewed by the instructor(s).  Because each class builds upon the other, students may not be allowed to 'skip' phases without prior experience.

Registration fees will vary based on the total number of class hours.
Phase 1 is typically $181.25
Phase 2 and 3 are typically $126.25
Please call us to verify the fees of the class prior to registering.
